Complaints Procedure

Raising a concern

I hope that if something does not feel right, we can discuss it openly and work towards a resolution together. Feedback and concerns are welcomed and taken seriously.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of my work, please raise this with me in the first instance. Most concerns can often be resolved through discussion.

You can contact me by email at hello@wercurious.com.

Informal resolution

I will acknowledge your concern and aim to respond promptly. Where possible, I hope we can work together to reach a satisfactory resolution.

I encourage clients and colleagues to raise concerns as soon as possible rather than allowing difficulties to build over time.

Formal complaints

If we are unable to resolve matters informally, you may ask to make a formal complaint. I will investigate the matter carefully and provide a written response.

As a BACP Accredited member, I work within the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

If you remain dissatisfied, you may raise concerns directly with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Complaints about personal data

If your concern relates to the handling of personal information, please contact me first so that I have the opportunity to address the matter.

You also have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Commitment to good practice

I am committed to providing a professional, respectful and ethical service. Complaints are viewed as an opportunity to learn, improve and maintain high standards of practice.

Please note that complaints relating to professional conduct and complaints relating to data protection may follow different procedures and, where appropriate, may be referred to the relevant organisation or regulator.

I welcome feedback and will always endeavour to resolve concerns openly, respectfully and in a timely manner.
